Bay House

So thank you Ike for sparring our bayhouse. Not sure if anyone else noticed..but during the news coverage of the aftermath of Ike the west end of the Island was never mentioned. This had us very worried at first. But thanks to some Galveston firemen..we heard that the bayhouse just had some minor damage. On Friday, Andy was able to sneak on the Island and have a look for himself. And sure enough he found a TON of trash in the yard and stuck in the fence, some missing shingles and siding on the house, and unfortunately we'll have to rebuild the storage room. However we were just glad that the house still stood there...I was getting sad already thinking about all the fun Tucker would have missed if we didn't have the bayhouse anymore. Thank you to everyone for the thoughts and we'll let you know when we'll be "legally" allowed to head down there.
