Our trip

We made our first airplane trip to GA to visit my Dad, Terri and girls. We stayed for 10 days and were able to drive over to Chapin, SC to visit my grandparents and see 2 of my aunts. Andy, me and Tucker flew out on a Wednesday at 7:30 am!!! What was I thinking when I made those reservations!! haha..Actually it worked out great..Tucker slept for 45 minutes on the plane and played for the remainder. Dad picked us up and boy was it COLD!!!

Andy couldn't stay with us the whole trip so he flew home Saturday... we sure missed him when he left..=( While he was there, Dad and him went on a bird hunt..killing lots of quail, chuckers, and pheasant...Andy is getting one mounted at this awesome taxidermy..(more details later).

After dropping Andy off at the airport, me, Dad, and Tucker headed for our 3 hour drive to S.C. Remind me next time not to go in the winter, cause boy was it gloomy and cold..Kinda made me depressed..Just kidding..We had a great time there visiting with Grandmama and Granddad...Tucker sure like playing with them. Tucker also got to meet Aunt Regena and Aunt Cheryl..and lots of other fam. too!

Two of my favorite things we did while is S.C. were...eating macaroni and cheese at the Lizards Thicket...and riding on the carousel with Tucker at the mall...

After a couple days there, we headed back to Atlanta..I'm so glad Grandmama and Granddad came too! On our way back, we stopped and had lunch at Aunt Virginia and Uncle Jack's house. I loved their house, especially their basement..How I wish Texas had basements!!!

Thankfully when we got back to Dad's, Malory was released from her quarantine...(she had mono whenever we got there). So we just hung out with Terri, Shelby, and Malory..So about that taxidermy...Dad, Tucker and I went to drop off Andy's pheasant at this local taxidermy in downtown Lawrenceville..It was the coolest thing ever!!! We got to go behind the scenes and check out the skinning process, drying process and even got to see a crate from Africa.. So Tucker had his first taxidermy experience..I'm sure he'll have lots more if Andy has to say anything about it...haha

Although we had a good trip....Boy was I glad to be home!! Back to our normal schedule and back to my own bed, and Tucker to his crib. He didn't sleep well while we were gone. Tucker and I were so excited whenever those elevator doors opened at the airport, and our Andy was there to greet us...Those 7 days we were apart, were the longest ever!!! Check out some of the pics of our trip...
