Big Decisions

Mom, where is my food??

Give me more!!!

That was yummy!!!

Can we do this tomorrow too?

After watching Tucker stare at us while we're eating and reaching for our food... we decided it was time to start rice cereal. My original plan was to start cereal at 6 months, but with his eagerness I just couldn't watch him any longer drool over our meal. I guess 2 weeks early isn't that big of a deal. So tonight was the big night..and WOW it went amazing. I really didn't know what to expect. I figured he would have more food on his face and body than in his mouth, but I was wrong! He ate like a champ. Yes he did have food on his face, but more made it in his mouth that I would have ever expected for his first meal. And he truly enjoyed it. I couldn't get a spoonful quick enough for him.

He's getting so big! I can't believe he's already 5.5 months old. This weekend we hung out in Plantersville and had so much fun. The girls (and Tucker) went to a flea-market, ate corn, devoured turkey legs, bought a parrot, and practiced detouring flea-market "petters" with the flu-season statement. The boys looked at guns all day. I think us girls had more fun!

Andy and I got home, visited with Aunt TK, visited Starbucks, and bought our first box of cereal. Around 6 pm, Tucker nursed and then to his highchair he went.

Hope everyone is doing well and starting their holiday season off great!
